Now this will depend on personal preference and indeed the occasion the car is required for; do you want the car to make a statement? Is it business use or a wedding? Are you including factors such as usability, comfort of the ride and styling?
There are many variables but I’m going to name my top 3, see if you agree!
S-Class Mercedes
In the No.1 spot it has to be the Mercedes S Class series; “Since the beginning of the 20th century, the s-class series have captivated successive generations of drivers with their elegant style and exceptional quality. The S-Class in particular has helped to shape the face of luxury motoring. Its direct line dates back to 1951 and the inaugural Frankfurt Motor Show, where Mercedes‑Benz presented its new 6-cylinder 220 saloon, a car whose effortless performance and impressive levels of equipment set the tone for a whole series of great luxury saloons.”
For us the name, the ride & usability just screams quality! The S-Class is suitable for all occasions from business clients to the blushing bride! Effortless performance from potent engines, great agility, surprisingly quiet even when driven at high speed, more space in the cabin than you will ever need and beautifully built from the finest materials.
If there is a downside they are expensive and can be costly to run, but when you hiring a chauffeur that’s not you concern! It really doesn’t get much better!
Jaguar XJ Sport
In the No.2 spot comes the Jaguar XJ Sport, could be a controversial choice? But I feel nothing makes an impact like the Jaguar XJ sport, bold styling, good British brand and fun to drive for a big luxury saloon. The ride is criticised for not being as comfortable as the S Class or Audi A8 but what the firm suspension lacks around town it makes up for down the back lanes!
If it’s a touch of class you’re looking to add to any occasion you would find the jaguar hard to beat!
BMW 7 Series
In the 3rd spot is BMW 7 Series, could be another surprise but with beautiful build quality, spacious cabin, great performance and coupled with the lowest C02 emissions of the luxury saloon cars, the BMW deserves its No.3 spot. It has also been named official partners of the London 2012 Olympic games, “BMW will provide the 4000 or so vehicles which are required at Games time to transport athletes, technical officials, media, LOCOG operational teams, national Olympic Committees, International Sports Federations, the IOC and marketing partners.”
“LOCOG Chairman Sebastian Coe commented, “Operationally, an automotive deal is vital for any organising committee and so I’m thrilled BMW is on board. They share our vision to stage sustainable Games in 2012 and will be a valued partner.”
Whatever your opinion the Top Cars Fleet of vehicles will take you to your destination in style! What is your favourite luxury car?
