Manchester
Our nearest “hotspot” will be Manchester
“Old Trafford stadium will host Olympic Football matches between 26 July and 7 August.
Even though Manchester and Old Trafford are used to hosting large events, the Olympic Football matches take place during the week at times that may affect travel in the afternoon and evening.
Public transport and roads in the area will be particularly busy during this period. Resident and business parking protection areas will be needed around Games venues. These will prevent spectators from trying to park around the venue and protect parking for residents and local businesses.”
If you have any concerns about getting on and out of Manchester, or if you’re visiting the football and would like to get there hassle free please get in touch with Top Cars, we would be happy to help!
